A small part of me wants to go ahead and apply. It reminded me of Chandler from Friends when he quit his job to find his passion in advertising. I put my papers down at EY 10 days after getting promoted to Senior Consultant. The longer I stay in an industry that doesn’t resonate with me, the deeper I get into it. Leaving my job without an offer in hand seemed both brave and, honestly, a little foolish, but I knew I had to because staying and searching wasn't working for me.
I’m a very creative person, and I strongly believe my personality is suited for a more exciting job. A marketing role (or even a strategy role) in industries like fashion, cosmetics, sports, FMCG, travel, or hospitality feels a perfect fit for me.
I strongly believe I can make good money while enjoying what I do.

1) Constantly chasing trends instead of building a long-term brand vision.
2) Overcomplicates simple ideas, making execution unnecessarily difficult.
3) Fails to incorporate data into creative decisions.
4) Refuses to collaborate with other departments, working in a silo.
5) Creates strategies that are “cool” but have no business impact.
6) Dismisses client feedback entirely, assuming they always know best.
